Your first step towards becoming a confident, independent angler. If you want to learn to fish properly but aren’t sure where to begin, this is the place to start. Get Started is the first lesson in our Learn to Fish programme and is designed for beginners who want to understand the basics, build confidence and start developing the skills they’ll use throughout their fishing journey. This is a practical session, with plenty of time actually fishing. Your instructor will guide you step by step, helping you understand the equipment, how to set up, choose and use bait, recognise bites, land fish and handle your catch safely. You won’t just be shown what to do. You’ll have the chance to do it yourself, ask questions and begin understanding why things work. Group sizes are limited to 4 anglers, giving everyone plenty of individual help and time with the instructor. All tackle, bait and venue entry are provided, so you don’t need to buy equipment before you start. If you already have some fishing tackle, you’re welcome to bring it along and we can help you understand whether it is suitable. By the end of the lesson, you’ll have taken your first proper step from simply catching a fish to understanding how to go fishing. 3 hours - Small Group - All Kit Included Just dress for the weather, bring a drink, and we’ll take care of the rest.
