That’s exactly what this 2-hour experience is for. Try Fishing is designed for complete beginners and gives you the chance to experience real fishing without needing any equipment, previous knowledge or preparation.

When you arrive, we’ll have everything ready. You’ll meet your instructor, get set up and, within minutes, you’ll be fishing.

We’ll show you how to use the equipment, bait your hook, recognise a bite, land your fish and handle it safely. Your instructor stays close by throughout, helping you build confidence while giving you plenty of opportunity to have a go for yourself.

There’s no need to understand tackle, rigs, bait or fishing licences before you come. We take care of all of that.

Most people catch their first fish during the session, but the real aim is to leave understanding how you caught it and feeling confident enough to do it again.
